Today at work I embroidered all day. Everyone is bringing in items to be embroidered for Christmas. Here are pictures of some of the things I did today.
I didn't make the apron or any of the dresses, just embroidered them. You can't tell very well in the picture, but the 3rd dress is lime green with the pink monogram.
Very nice work, Aleisha! What type of machine do you have?

Lovely - my gosh I haven't machine-embroidered in ages, I guess I should pull out my embroidery arm!
ReplyDeleteWhat are the things that you should carefully consider when going ahead to buy personal embroidery machine - All about the embroidery and personal embroidery machine
ReplyDeleteI'll be honest. I purchased a Brother sewing/embroidery machine and I returned it within 2 weeks. I didn't like the embroidery part of it. You are so limited as to what you can do. Most personal embroidery machines allow you a 4x4 area to embroider in. For small monograms or pictures, that is fine. I found that I couldn't embroidery pre-made things as well on the personal machine. There may be some machines that allow a larger field, but it will definitely cost you.
ReplyDeleteI own a commercial embroidery machine. I keep it in our tanning salon and offer embroidery to the public. We also sell purses, bags, diaper bags, etc.
I'm not really one to give advice on a personal embroidery machine. Sorry.
